Central District Distrito Central


Our vision is to fulfill the great commission by growing and multiplying healthy congregations that effectively evangelize and disciple the growing population of Hispanics that reside within our geographical region.  The Central Latin American District is a partnership of over 140 congregations within the States of New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Utah and Idaho. 

Our purpose is to:

1.  Fullfill the Great Commission by preaching the message of Jesus Christ in every within the geographical bounderies of the Central Latin District and beyond.

2.  Work in harmony with the General Council of the Assemblies of God.

3.  Promote spiritual health and Pentecostal revival in our ministers and churches.

4.  Provide a network of support, prayer, training and fellowship for our    ministers within each region of the District through our Ministry Groups.

5.  Provide resources and training for effective local church ministries such as Sunday School, Royal Rangers, Missionettes, Youth, Honor Bound, Women's Ministries, Small groups and Church  leadership, etc.

6.  Train bi-lingual pastors, church planters, missionaries and Christian workers through our District based Bible College and Institute.  Sierra Alta Bible College and Institute currently has extention schools in Denver Colorado, Cheyenne Wyoming, Albuquerque New Mexico and Salt Lake City Utah.

7.  Challenge every church to plant or partner with our churches in planting of new churches throughout our District.

8.  Partner with neighboring District congregations in the planting or opening of Hispanic ministries or churches.

9.  Support the cause of Missions world wide by praying, giving financial resources and sending missionaries to reach the un-reached people groups of the world.
