Central District Distrito Central

Agradezco a mi Señor Jesús por la gran oportunidad que me da de servir en este departamento a los pastores del Central District/ Distrito Central y ser útil para la expansión y consolidación del Reino de los Cielos a través del discipulado, el cual desde mi punto de vista es la tarea medular de la iglesia.

El reto más grande de la iglesia moderna se llama: “discipulado”. En la actualidad miles de almas son alcanzadas con la predicación del evangelio por medio de la televisión, radio, alcances evangelísticos, cruzadas, y otros programas de evangelización; sin embargo, después de esos esfuerzos el reto es consolidar a los nuevos creyentes para que “retengan lo que tienen” (Apoc. 3:11). En Mateo 18:19-20  se asume que la iglesia toma el reto de “ir y hacer discípulos” una mejor traducción del original es “mientras van, hagan discípulos”; es decir, contrario a lo que hemos aprendido, no es una orden, es algo que Jesús dio por hecho que Su iglesia haría. ¡Ese es nuestro llamado!

El discipulado no es solamente para los nuevos creyentes, la iglesia moderna necesita  gente cada vez más preparada en conocimiento bíblico y ministerial. Los líderes que apoyan a su pastor necesitan entrenamiento y dominio de su fe y área de trabajo, ya que vivimos en una sociedad que cada vez demanda más respuestas bíblicas y lógicas; es por eso que el creyente debe estar listo para “honrar en su corazón a Cristo…y estar preparados para responder a todo el que les pida razón de le esperanza que hay en ellos… (1 Pedro 3:15) (Paráfrasis mía). Creo firmemente que la iglesia de hoy tiene que ser más intencional que nunca para lograr cumplir con este gran reto.

I was born in a small town called Matachic, Chihuahua; Mexico on March 02 of 1973 to Christian parents. I am the 7th out of 9 siblings. I gave my life to the Lord Jesus Christ, was baptized in the Holy Spirit and called to ministry at age 12. At the age of 15 I was sent by my mother to the city of Chihuahua Mexico to study and to live for the next 18 years. I later married Bertha Alicia Morales de la Rosa (Betty) on December 18th of 1993.  We have 2 sons and 1 daughter. I worked mainly in the area of accounting, had a business of my own for 10 years and since 2006 have resided in the city of Farmington, NM, USA.

I studied Accounting and Management at the Technological Institute of Marketing and Management in Chihuahua, Mexico. I completed one year of biblical studies at the Jerusalem Biblical Institute, obtained a BA in Theology of the Latin American Theological Seminary in La Puente CA, took courses without official accreditation of Christian Apologetics (two years) Mission logy (1 year) History of the Christian Church from the first century to century LVXXX and have obtained several diplomas in Evangelism courses, Cells, Leadership, Management of Taxes, etc.. Currently I am studying for a Master’s degree in Theological Education at the School of the Assemblies of God.


At age 7 years I learned to play musical instruments and have since then helped with music and praise in different congregations. At the age of 17 years I preached my first sermon and began to teach in Sunday school. I have served in various leadership positions at the churches I attended. In the pastoral area, I helped as Youth Pastor, Co-pastor and associate pastor. I helped plant a church in CD. Chihuahua, Mexico. I received my credentials as a minister of the Assemblies of God in Mexico.  Other positions held were that of a teacher of discipleship in Theology, Christian Education Director in the city of Chihuahua Chih South District, and given various training courses for pastors and leaders for the Southern District of Chihuahua. In 2007 I received my ministerial license from the National Council of the Assemblies of God in USA and received my ordination in 2010. Currently I am a teacher for the Latin American Bible Institute; Director of Public Passion Play in Spanish and by the grace of God have experienced ministering in different countries. Together with my wife and 3 children we currently pastor Templo Sinai, AG in Farmington, NM.

From all the above I give glory and honor to the only Lord Jesus Christ who is my master and Lord. "We are useless servants ... not to us oh Jehovah, not us, but to Your name be the glory, Amen"
